What are the costs?
Play Therapy and Filial Therapy. Each child is unique and so each child’s therapeutic package is likely to be slightly different. Amanda charges £70* for a Play Therapy session (50 mins) and £93* for a Filial Therapy session (45 mins therapy session and 15-30 mins follow-up discussion): this charge includes the additional time needed for setting up, tidying up, preparing resources, note writing, general communication around sessions and liaising with other professionals, where appropriate.
* Amanda will offer a concessionary rate for families who are funding their therapy themselves, please ask if you would like to discuss this option.
Additional charges will apply where:
- You would like Amanda to travel to provide therapy.
- You would like Amanda to attend professional’s meetings.
- You would like a written report of your child’s therapeutic progress.
If you feel that Kernow Play Therapy offers the therapeutic support that you are looking for, please feel free to contact Amanda. When she has a clearer picture of the needs of your child, the location you would like the Play or Filial Therapy to take place in, any meetings you would like Amanda to attend and the regularity of reporting, she will be able to give you a more accurate estimate of the likely cost of your child’s bespoke therapeutic package.
Child Attachment and Play Assessments, Clinical Supervision and bespoke training packages would be priced following a discussion of your particular requirements.
